700+ folks came thru Homeless Connect of Southwest Indiana on April 3rd !

It was a blast to see so many familiar faces, meeting new folks, hearing about their lives, and how we can help!

We started the day before joining with other volunteers to make 400 wraps with Feed Evansville for free lunches for the attendees!

At the event, we gave out:

200+ nasal Narcan

150 condom kits

150 safe use kits

250 sharp disposal boxes

300 fentanyl test strips

250 xylayine test strips

100 emergency contraceptive

100 shaving razors

150 menstrual hygiene kits

160 dental hygiene kits

50 laundry kits

** Many hugs, rides, volunteer apps, and tips from folks on what/where/when they need more services!

Good job to all the 70+ vendors, lunch service, volunteers and organizers who made it all happen in one place.
