“I am honored to be one small part of this initiative. A Syringe Service Program (SSP) is long overdue in Evansville. It is an evidence-based, compassionate strategy for reducing the transmission of diseases such as HIV and Hepatitis C, as well as other harms both individual and communal. As a Registered Nurse and ordained clergyperson, I am committed to following the philosophy of Harm Reduction. Having a SSP in our city will be one vital expression of that philosophy.”
