We are humbled to announce a significant milestone in Evansville Recovery Alliance‘s timeline. The Indiana Recovery Allianceis loaning us their previous mobile outreach van named after Larry Pasco (RIP) until we find the funding to purchase it or another van to own. This van was loaned to IRA by Chicago Recovery Alliance a decade ago with similar circumstances responding to a lack of substantial funding for life-affirming harm reduction resources but a tremendous need in Bloomington, IN.
We are excited to bring our harm reduction outreach van to local events, neighborhoods, and service providers to meet everyone where you’re at!
We invite you to tour the van at our upcoming Overdose Awareness Day event: A Day of Remembrance – Let it Be Spoken
And we invite you to be apart of the harm reduction movement by donating to our cause, volunteering to know the work involved, carrying Narcan personally, and sharing the good word to your loved ones #harmreductionworks!
Upfront Larry will need $1000:
Deep Clean $250
Awning $300
General Maintenance fund $500
Every donation directly improves the conditions of our most vulnerable community members.
See you around!
